Steph is a stalwart of Earlsdon - and a Character in every

sense of the word.

He is known however to come out with some Howlers and I feel

they deserve a place in history.

Some of his stock lines - (Best done in a Geordie Accent )

I've never gone back in me life.

I had him just where I wanted him.

We've neee front raaa, nee back raaa and neeee 2nd raaa

I know a short cut ( which involves delays at arriving at away games )

I do recall that he once offered the advice that if you found yourself on the wrong side of a ruck, you should "cover your back with your head"

This may not count, but I also remember Paul Tanney once describing Steph as having a gob that resembled a "blown-out fuse box"
