Jack Carnall

It is with deep sorrow that I have to inform you all of the peaceful death at home of club stalwart Jack Carnall aged 90 Jack joined Earlsdon in 1937 with a playing career of nearly 40 years.

Jack was an innovator of mini rugby at Earlsdon RFC over 40 years ago and was a coach responsible for such players Neil Back and Rob Callaway. He has held just about every role at the club and laterly it was as an unseen hard working volunteer, with an active mind for figures Jack kept various committees upto date with % profits and points of order with running the club.

He will be sadly missed as a clubman, but more importantly as a character and source of many a great story.

His funeral is on Thursday 16th October 12 Noon at Canley Crem and afterwards at Earlsdon Rugby Club.
